One of my favorite things about Swingers is the regulars. At Alice’s we had regulars, but not like this.
The people who frequently grace Swingers with their presence are some of the sweetest gems I’ve yet to meet in this world. They share their life with me, I share mine, and we engage in genuine conversation. It’s wonderful. It’s unique. It makes me very happy.
Dan is one such person. When he started coming in, I immediately noticed that every day he wore a different shirt with a heart on it. As many of you know, hearts are my thing. We started talking and I learned he has a company, Twelve Bar, that is all about hearts. Well sort of. It’s about a great love and appreciation for music, and their heart logo is how they convey that message.
Dan was lovely enough to share some of his company’s shirts with me, and Louie was lovely enough to photograph me wearing one. Here’s the result.
Happy hearts abound.
